Valor Essential Oil Blend
I bought my first bottle of Valor when I joined Young Living in 2002. I bought it for my horse. Yes, my horse. In retrospect, I completely understand that I was identifying the need for courage in the wrong member of that partnership.
At the time, I didn’t know anyone personally who was using the oils , who could explain to me how they work and how to use them, who could help me get started. I ended up becoming afraid to use any of the oils I had. I put them safely away and let my membership in Young Living lapse into inactivity.
Fast forward 13 years … When, through a friend, I rediscovered Young Living and essential oils, I re-activated my membership with my friend. While flipping through the new catalog I remembered that I had several bottles of Young Living oils stashed somewhere. Of course, I had moved states once in the intervening years and had packed up my whole kitchen for a remodel. Still, Valor and my other oils were in the first box I searched.
I used that original bottle of Valor down to the last drop and bought as many more as I could get my hands on. Valor is one of those rare oils because one of its ingredients is difficult to source. Gary Young developed Valor II to address this problem. It has the same frequency and effects as the original, along with the same blue color. I did not care for the smell of Valor II the first time I used it. Now, having used Valor II in Raindrop technique and for personal use, I have become very fond of its scent.
From the Young Living website:
Valor® essential oil blend is one of our most popular products and a favorite of founder D. Gary Young. Its woodsy, positive scent comes from a blend of Black Spruce, Blue Tansy, and Frankincense. Valor is great for massages, in addition to other topical and aromatic uses.
Use it to greet each morning with a positive attitude or to unwind at the end of the day. Its powerful yet calming scent is versatile enough that you can integrate it into your morning and bedtime routines and anywhere in between.
Valor is currently out of stock, but you could grab some Valor II and await the return of the original blend with me. Use is on your horse, if you want. Better yet, give someone you love a back- or foot-rub with it. You’ll both be glad you did.
