Stress Away, Blend for Modern Life
Stress Away blends lime essential oil and vanilla absolute together for a delightful scent. This is a blend that I used extensively when I first became a member of Young Living. I use it less frequently now because I simply feel less stressed, or I feel stressed less frequently.
There were several situations in my life causing a great deal of stress when I became a Young Living member. I would become aware of a rising feeling in my gut, almost like pressure on my diaphragm. When I smelled Stress Away, that rising feeling diminished or even went away.
Stress Away to the Rescue!
One specific time when I used a lot of Stress Away was when I was trying to finish up my Master’s Degree. I got to a point where I had all of my course work completed and my final paper mostly written, with a few changes to make per my committee chairman. When I’d sit down to work on those changes, I’d start feeling super stressed and would find distractions to help me escape from the task. After several failed attempts at finishing my paper, I noticed that even thinking about it would bring on the feelings of stress.
I knew that the only way past the stress was to get the thing done and I resolved to take the necessary steps. I visited with my adviser and made sure I had all the other pieces for graduation in place. Then I went back to my committee chairman to get clarification on the changes he wanted. I scheduled two days to work only on my paper. And I started using Stress Away. Lots of it.
I applied Stress Away topically my putting a drop in my hand, rubbing my palms together, then cupping my palms over my nose and mouth. After breathing deeply a few times, I rub the oil from my palms into the back of my neck and my wrists.
Along with the other supports I had in place, this essential oil blend helped me finish my paper. It also got me through the defense of my paper, no small accomplishment.
Stress Away is a blend of Copaiba, Lime, Cedarwood, and Lavender essential oils, with Vanilla absolute. From the Young Living website: “With an aroma that is the perfect blend of tropical and citrus, Stress Away is uniquely relaxing and comforting.”
Stress Away Smoothie:
Yes, there’s a smoothie recipe made using Stress Away Vitality oil. I’ll put that recipe up, I promise. My friend made one for me and it was very good. I promise to post the recipe.
